Historical revisionists are in full force this election season.  In 2010 the Texas Board of Education changed the curriculum by minimizing minority contributions in American history. The latest tomfoolery involves members of the Tennessee Tea Party pressuring lawmakers to amend textbooks to exclude information about the Founding Fathers owning slaves or any portrayal of the minority experience that overshadows the contributions of past presidents such as George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. Apparently these God-fearing American loving folks need a history lesson on censorship and the dangers associating with excluding facts.  For argument sake lets call these jokers what they are: White Supremacists. I will refer them as such in perpetuity or until Jesus comes back.  I refuse to legitimize these groups of racist revisionist by calling them the “Tea Party.”

Usually when ass-clowns make the news I get a tingling feeling in my panties because their antics are rather amusing and confirm my superiority. However this time I’m not laughing.  Anyone with basic common sense will feel like a genius when a member of the White Supremacist Tea Bagger Movement opens his or her mouth to speak.  American education has failed when imbeciles like Michelle Bachmannbelieve that American Blacks were better off back in slavery because they were more likely raised by a mother and father.

During slavery, black families were often torn apart and sold to separate plantations. The broken family unit started back in slavery and affected Blacks for generations. Revisionist love to glamorous the good day of slavery where Whites were not accountable for their cruel and inhuman treatment of blacks. I rather take my chances in 2012 with divorced parents. The idea of getting raped every night, malnutrition, and slave labor doesn’t sound appealing.  These revisionists have a platform to spew their fairy tales about American history, dress up like buffoons, and rally up the troops to put a stop to these crazy colored folks taking over America!

One of these days I will keel over and die from either an aneurism or the viral infection of stupidity and insanity spreading across America at a rapid rate. American kids are already dumb in comparison to their global counterparts.  The last thing we need are the next generation of dim wits growing up believing that minority contributions in America are little to no value. Now children of color are force-fed nonsense such as the bootstrap argument instead of having an honest discussion about how White Privilege exploits disenfranchised groups. These groups are dehumanizing minorities by watering down the facts and rendering our presence invisible.  Censoring American history will cause an intellectual stagnation and eventually lead to the demise of this nation.

The political rhetoric spewed by these groups is all about the Whitewashing of American history. White Supremacists fear losing the privilege the “Founding Fathers” bestowed upon them because America is becoming more diverse and less White. The changing landscape of American will force whiteness to undergo another transformation to keep people of color from gaining dominance. Many conservative politicians discuss preserving traditional American values, which is all coded language meant to protect Whiteness. President Obama’s election to the presidency made some people go bat-shit crazy.  Who knew that a person of color with symbolic power made mainstream White society uncomfortable? So much for progressive post racial America.
